Oakham School is a popular destination, whilst we maintain excellent relationships with other local independent schools such as Stamford and Oundle. Recently, more families are recognising the importance of the primary years in establishing a passion for learning and solidifying fundamentals. As a result, transitioning back into the state or grammar school system has become an increasingly popular senior school pathway. We have seen our children thrive at local schools like Catmose College and Priory Ruskin after their time at Brooke Priory.
We are proud of our pupils' recent successes in gaining entry to their chosen senior schools and securing scholarships in academics, all-round achievements, and sports.
To complete their journey, many of our alumni return to mentor our Form VI pupils, lead assemblies, and volunteer their time, demonstrating a true sense of belonging.

| Brooke Priory and Oakham School have worked together to develop an opportunity for children in Form V to take an ‘early bird’ entrance assessment to join Oakham School in Year 7. This is designed to give the children and parents confidence in being able to plan ahead for Year 7 and allow children to focus on Form VI without any preoccupation or worries about their upcoming school move. The assessment will include a mathematics and English examination, based upon the Brooke Priory curriculum, and taken during the summer examination week. Children will then have a short interview, which is really a ‘get to know you’ chat Parents are warmly invited to visit Oakham School for an overview of all that they have to offer.
